Digital Cameras

posted by Kaza

I remember a few years ago how digital cameras were a luxury item, now they are practically a necessity. When I got my first digital camera, I would take it everywhere. The prospect of snapping off pictures I could instantly share with anyone was amazing to me. The first camera I had wasn’t of great quality compared to today’s models, but it helped me get this really cool close-up image of my favorite hockey player, Martin St. Louis

Now I take my digital camera with me wherever I go, just in case that once in a lifetime moment happens I just have to tell everyone about. That game winning goal? I have it captured for all to see. That celebrity I saw at the store? Crystal clear and ready to share on my digital camera. I am so glad these things are improving in quality and dropping in price, like the crisp new Nikon D80.

Ball State Honors Letterman

posted by Kaza

David Letterman has been a fixture of late night TV for years now, and his alma mater wants to observe his accomplishments forever. Though I have never met anyone that watched David Letterman or thinks he’s at all funny, but he obviously has some kind of staying power. He graduated in 1970 from the Ohio university, now the communications building will bear his name forever. The school previously had a scholarship in communication named after him, but this is a whole other ballgame.

It Was Cool 10 Years Ago!

posted by Kaza

I was cleaning my room today when I found this mix CD I made a while back. It was titled “Hey, It was cool 5 years ago!” and it was full of songs I enjoyed circa 1997. One of those songs was certainly A Long December by Counting Crows. It was a little depressing to think that it has now been 10 years since that fun time… Oh well, enjoy this live performance by the band.

Old Coldplay

posted by Kaza

Now, I am not much of a Coldplay fan. I guess I have never given them a fair chance, but this song rocked me to the core when it first came out. I also fell in love with the video. I heard the song again today for the first time in a while. As soon as I heard the chorus, I started walking backwards singing. One look at the video and you’ll see why.
