Acne Time

posted by Kaza

All you see on TV these days, especially on late nights and Sunday morning, is advertisements for products claiming to be the best acne treatment. All the stars are on there saying at one time they had acne until they found out about this product. I just find it hard to believe they have been using a product available commercially for only three years ten years ago, but that’s just me.

eBay Needs

posted by Kaza

At first glance, selling things on eBay seems like a good deal. It still kind of is, as long as what you are selling is worth the time and effort. They take their cut off the top, then they have listing fees. Then they make you use PayPal and take a cut of that. Then you have to go to the post office and waste additional money on shipping and insurance, postage tape and applicable boxes or envelopes. When all is said and done and everyone has their slide, you are left with nothing.

Solid Investments

posted by Kaza

I have thought of two sound investments to help you keep your money during a down economy. The first won’t net you very much, but it isn’t going to lose you your shirt either: alcohol. People love to get drunk when they have no money. Number two - luxury items. When most people don’t have money, the few that do are holding a lot. This is why investing in a Rolex Yachtmaster would not be a bad idea at this time if you can afford it.

Man Bling

posted by Kaza

Tell me, what exactly constitutes men’s jewelry ? Whenever I think of the term, I think of a very limited number of items. For example, a Rolex watch would be something I put in the category of men’s jewelry. I also think of Mr. T and his assortment of gaudy golden chains. I guess you could consider that too to be men’s jewelry. However, one thing I never think of are those little earrings that some guys like to sport nowadays.

Insurance of the Stars

posted by Kaza

With all these radical environmentalist groups out there looking to make an example of prime housing, celebrities and other well to dos are turning for the first time to high quality home insurance. Now, we aren’t talking about the same lousy insurance they gave to the people of Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida. This is top of the line stuff with total coverage, but it comes at a price. A price celebrities are willing to pay to sustain their lifestyle.

Ephedra

posted by Kaza

A few years ago right here in Florida during Spring Training for Major League Baseball, Orioles pitcher Steve Bechler died after having supposedly taken an ephedra supplement. This, coupled with the fact the chemical is a precursor in the methamphetamine manufacturing process lead the DEA to crack down on so called ephedra diet pills. However, if you look hard enough you may still find some.

Drug Rehabs

posted by Kaza

It’s been a while since I’ve heard anything about celebrities in drug treatment centers. For a while, entertainment news was dominated by another star gone awry, ending up in rehab for pain pill addiction, cocaine dependency, alcoholism, anything under the rainbow. If there was a substance to abuse, it seems like some celebrity was doing it. However, we as a nation like to snicker at how badly celebrities are doing when in all reality they abuse drugs and substances no more than the regular population. I say, let’s get off their backs and find them help instead of making a public spectacle of them.

Wilford Brimley

posted by Kaza

Wilford Brimley made a career out of being a decent supporting actor in feature films like The China Syndrome. His biggest era was in the early 70s before he made the switch over to television commercials, most famously for Quaker Oatmeal and Liberty Medical diabetes testing supplies. He also has a knack for pocket watches. Wilford has taken his signature watch and turned it into charity money for kids with diabetes. Every day he gets new pocket watches and puts the old ones up for auction, which regularly fetch anywhere from 50-200 dollars for juvenile diabetes research.

Routers in Orange County

posted by Kaza

I own your basic Linksys wireless router to get on the laptop and video game console. I am not sure of the range, but just imagine the setups the rich and famous must have! In order to reach every corner of their houses, they would probably need multiple routers like I have or one very powerful one. I bet it’d be easy to mooch a signal in Orange County, but for some reason I don’t think anyone there needs to.

Run for Office

posted by Kaza

I am currently supporting a particular candidate for State House of Representatives. I met with him for lunch to discuss my position in his campaign. He told me the door was open for me to jump on board, as he was conducting a campaign on behalf of the little guys in the area. We then exited the restaurant and I followed him to his car. He had this Dodge. He said it was worth a lot of money, but he needed to do some work on it. On my own accord, I started looking for Dodge Charger accessories so he could campaign in style.
