Ellen DeGeneres is used to generating controversy. Her public, on-air “coming out” is still unprecedented to this day. She is probably not used to causing controversy when it comes to animals, as she is a well known animal lover. She had the right intentions when she adopted Izzy, a mixed dog, from Mutts and Moms adoption agency. Somewhere in their legal paperwork, they said the dog could not be given away. Ellen violated this by giving the dog to her hairdresser when it didn’t get along with her other animals. The agency swept in and took the dog from the other family, leading me to believe the title “Mutts and Moms” was named after the founders of the agency.
