Hobbit without Jackson?

It seems that if “The Hobbit” ever makes it to the big screen, it will do so without “Lord of the Rings” director Peter Jackson. Jackson and New Line Cinema are still embroiled in a lawsuit over profits from the first film in the mega-hit trilogy. I don’t know – I just can’t imagine the prequel being done by anyone else. Any ideas on another director who could fit the bill?
