Senior Cell Phone

posted by Kaza

My Uncle Charlie never wanted to give up his old rotary phone and it was the mid nineties before we finally got him to switch to a model with buttons. When cell phones became all the rage, Uncle Charlie wanted nothing to do with them. In fact, we bought him an emergency cellular phone just in case he ever got a flat tire or needed assistance. He hardly knew how to turn it on! Getting in touch with him was out of the question and we wondered whether he’d be able to use it to his advantage if he ever needed to.

Then, I saw this commercial on TV for a brand new Senior Cell Phone with features tailored to older folks who didn’t want to deal with heavy technology. My Uncle was never going to download ringtones or text message anyone, so we decided to get him an easy to use cell phone from Jitterbug.com.

The Jitterbug phone is just great for senior citizens who need pay as you go cell phones that are simple to use. The volume and rings are louder so they can be easily heard. The screen is brighter with bigger characters so it is easy to see. The service is friendly and can tolerate someone like Uncle Charlie! The buttons are big and easy to see and operate. The Jitterbug is a great option for senior citizens who need an emergency cell phone or just a phone with simpler technology. Now, my wife and I can rest easier knowing Uncle Charlie carries his Jitterbug around wherever he goes.
