Up until recently, the only news out of Hollywood was a grim picture painted of the future of US cinema. Movie sales looked to be getting hurt by pirate DVDs and other factors, namely being the movies were lousy. Now, after a summer of basking in the sun, Hollywood is enjoying a resurgence. A bunch of movies this summer performed better than expected. Comedies like “Superbad” entertain ed hot audiences to a bunch of laughter all around the country. Recently, the new adaption of the thriller “Halloween” captivated audiences and remains on the top of movie lists.
